Andrew C. Strosahl, Esq.

After spending years at sea as a merchant mariner, Andrew came ashore for law school. He stayed, having weathered the bar exam, and ventured to Washington, D.C. as a fellow with the Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship in the U.S. Senate. Later, he was a leader in government affairs for the U.S.-flag maritime industry. Now he is home in New England and eager to assist clients out of his office in Dover, New Hampshire

Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree from Maine Maritime Academy. He later earned his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Maine School of Law where he also received the Pro Bono Publico Award and the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement: International and Oceans Law recognition.

He practices law in both Maine and New Hampshire in the maritime, transportation, energy, real estate, government affairs sectors, to name a few. He is currently a member of the Maine State Bar Association, Maritime Law Association, York County Bar Association, the Propeller Club of Portsmouth, NH and the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Services and Finance Industries.

Andrew is on the Board of Directors of the Maine Maritime Academy Alumni Association, Leadership Seacoast, and the Executive Committee of the Dover Democratic Committee. Aside from making nautical puns, Andrew enjoys adventures with his wife Jessica and dog Betty. They can often be seen walking downtown and near their home in Dover, New Hampshire.
